About the role

An exciting permanent part‑time (30 hours per week) position at Calvary‑Kogarah providing administrative (medico‑legal) support to ensure smooth operations and contributing to compassionate patient care. The role entails processing requests for the release of information (ROI) contained in a person's clinical record. The role is responsible for conducting complex records/ filing audits, providing information management training and data analyses and reporting.

Your main duties will include

- Provide a range of administrative services in relation to the Release of Information in accordance with various legislative instruments ensuring that the information adheres to Calvary and NSW Health policies.
- Register requests on the confidential database and ensure all relevant documentation is retrieved from the hospital EMR information systems to comply with the request/subpoena.
- Draft accurate and concise reports, documents and correspondence, including the preparation of complex correspondence in accordance with Calvary and NSW Health policies and procedures.

About you

- Previous experience working in a public hospital environment.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
