Responsibilities

- Define and manage the entire systems integration of the communications project, including detailed design, set to work, integration testing, and deployment.
- Develop the project specific detailed design and integration processes aligning them to the Engineering Management System.
- Plan and execute the detailed design and integration activities, including resource allocation, task management and problem solving.
- Identify potential issues, manage risk, and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful integration.
- Communicate effectively with management and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, issues, and risks.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering team members.
- Be accountable for ensuring that required engineering products and activities are produced in accordance with the approved procedures, to required specifications and quality standards, to schedule, and to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including systems engineering, product management, supply chain, manufacturing, assembly, quality assurance, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of the communication systems.
- Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement within the Detailed Design and Integration team.
- Additional Duties: Manage integration and deployment activities at customer facilities.
- Additional Duties: Contribute to contract change proposals.
- Additional Duties: Where applicable, support the Functional Team Leader with the identification of training and development needs for the assigned team and supporting or conducting functional performance and development reviews.
