About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will be leading the delivery of multiple small, large and complex projects. Overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle including initial scoping and stakeholder engagement through to design, procurement, construction, and handover, ensuring outcomes are aligned with client objectives, budgets, and timelines.

We are open to anyone throughout South East QLD to apply, as we have multiple offices throughout the region. Ventia’s main office is based inWest End, Brisbane and we would expect 2 days in the office per week

Key responsibilities will also include, but not limited to:

- Project Leadership and strategy, providing commercial input and delivery expertise
- Management of project start up activities and processes
- Stakeholder management, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and delivery partners.
- Risk and Issue management including identification of potential risks and issues early, development of mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance.
- Create and maintain project schedules, monitor progress and address delays and risks
- Occasional travel to regional areas may be required

About You

- 10+ years of proven project and team management experience in construction industries
- Strong client-facing communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Strong management and solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management as you will be working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Suite (Work, Excel, Outlook, etc)
- PRINCE2 certification will be highly regarded. However, this is not a requirement
- An ability to seek and be involved in new business opportunities and effectively interface with the Client.
