Join the Frontlines of Airport Excellence as a Kerbside Coordinator at Sydney Airport

Are you passionate about safety, customer service, and keeping operations running like clockwork? Certis is seeking a proactive, experienced, and dedicated Kerbside Coordinator to be a key player in the dynamic environment of Sydney Airport.

About the Role

As a Kerbside Coordinator, you’ll be at the forefront of airport landside operations—managing traffic flow, supporting customers (including those requiring special assistance), and ensuring safety across kerbside zones.

You'll also lead continuous improvement initiatives, coordinate with key stakeholders, and ensure compliance with operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a safe, efficient, and seamless kerbside and landside operation

Implement global best-practice traffic and transport strategies

Monitor contractor performance and provide reports to the Client Services Manager

Lead audits and ensure compliance with SOPs

Identify and drive improvements to infrastructure and operations

Train and support kerbside staff and supervisors

Represent Certis in industry forums and working groups

Support the Bus & Limousine Registration System (BLRS) and manage infringement investigations

Respond to and report on operational complaints and incidents

Qualification

Mandatory Qualifications:

Blue Card – Traffic Control

White Card – General Construction

Landside Terminal Card or ASIC

Completion of Certis Kerbside Induction

Skills & Attributes

Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

High attention to detail and excellent reporting/documentation skills

A proactive, safety-first mindset and calm approach under pressure

Experience in conflict resolution and customer-focused service delivery
