The Role

The role of School Support Consultant Broome belongs to the School Support team in the Teaching and Learning directorate. We have 5 office campuses across the state and this role will be based at our Broome Regional office.

The School Support Consultant Broome is responsible for providing leadership and building the capacity of school leaders in the Broome Diocese in the area of Learning and Teaching. This includes supporting schools in engaging with the Vision for Learning and Qulaity Catholic Learning and Teaching pedagogies.

Selection Criteria

- Prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties.
- Recent primary school-based leadership experience with evidence of exemplary teaching.
- Demonstrated commitment to Quality Catholic Education, CEWAs Vision for Learning and relevant teaching and learning frameworks, position statements and guidelines.
- Demonstrated commitment to taking personal responsibility for professional learning, growth and development.
- Excellent understanding of academic data and how to apply this to improve teaching and learning.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of current issues and research in pedagogical practice.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of current issues and research in school improvement processes and pedagogical practice.
- Highly developed facilitation and presentation skills.
- A cover letter briefly addressing the selection criteria.
- A curriculum vitae outlining their employment history, qualifications and certifications and include a minimum of two professional references.

The successful applicant will need to provide:

- National criminal history check as issued by the Department of Education WA.
- 100 points of identification
- WA working with children check
- Evidence of TRBWA registration
