Overview

Air Conditioning Technician (Mechanic) – Location: Gold Coast • Position: Full-time • Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per annum

Synergy Airconditioning is seeking a qualified full-time Air Conditioning Technician to join our team in Gold Coast. This role involves assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial, commercial, and domestic air-conditioning systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, service, and repair residential and commercial air conditioning systems.
- Replace defective components and record all maintenance and repair actions.
- Diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance.
- Check and connect equipment, ensuring alignment and accuracy of fit.
- Adjusting system controls and mechanisms as required.
- Communicate clearly with clients and provide top-tier customer service.
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Conduct leak testing, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, and performance testing on systems.

Qualifications and Skills

- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and controls.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Licensing as required in Queensland.
- Valid driver’s licence.
