The Role:
Multiple opportunities exist for administrative clerks to join the HIS casual ward clerk team at Northern Health.
As a casual ward clerk, you are responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to clinical, nursing and allied health staff completing admissions, discharges, transfers and administrative duties in a timely manner.
Our casual clerical team relies on casuals to have vast availability and reliability to service multiple departments and campuses 7 days per week, including public holidays.
Campuses include:
- Northern Hospital Epping
- Broadmeadows Hospital
- Bundoora Centre
- Craigieburn Community Hospital
- Kilmore District Health Service
Shifts:
- 0645-1515
- 1200-2000
- 0700-1530
- 1430-2100
- 0730-1600
- 1430-2300
- 0800-1600
- 1600-2000
- 0830-1630
- 1630-2030
- 0900-1730
- 1600-2200
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience and good working knowledge of software programs
- Experience in a hospital or fast-paced working environment
- A customer service focused approach
- Proven integrity and understanding of privacy and confidentiality requirements
- Proven ability to prioritise workloads
