About the Role

You will be part of a dynamic and inclusive business enterprise that provides opportunities for people with disabilities to be employed alongside other trade-skilled team members, to maintain a wide variety of sites for our commercial clients. You will be hands on, leading the team from the front with a variety of gardening tasks, grounds maintenance and cleaning.

- Leads small teams, providing coaching and allocating and prioritising work between team members to meet contract specifications and scheduling.

- Immediately report any accidents, injuries, identified hazards and/or risks.

- Develop positive relationships with external customers, suppliers and contractors, promoting Aruma services through excellent customer service.

Skills that make you stand out

- A trade and/or horticulture certificate or equivalent qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience.

- Problem solving and technical skills to address maintenance, contract and scheduling issues.

- A high level of physical fitness to meet the manual handling requirements of the position.

- Sound verbal and written communication. Sound negotiation skills, able to resolve conflict and assess when to escalation issues.

- Sound organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.

- Valid current driver’s license.

- Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.

- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain.

- White card, and understanding of WHS requirements.

- Formal team leadership training and/or equivalent knowledge and experience with demonstrated ability to supervise and support staff.
