We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaner’s for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Success Primary School (SPS) is located in the City of Cockburn. We embrace our school motto 'Unlock Your Potential,' ensuring parents and the school community actively work together to achieve improved outcomes for all students.
SPS boasts state-of-the-art facilities such as a hydrotherapy pool, sensory room and gymnasium. The education support program locations are distributed across the school, providing inclusive opportunities for students and staff at all year levels.
At SPS, we foster a model of distributed leadership where staff are provided with ample opportunities to lead best practice in the Western Australian Curriculum, lead Department of Education and School Initiatives and participate in peer mentoring and coaching.
The Role
As a school cleaner you will carry out internal cleaning duties, in accordance with the Department's procedures. The duties include the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, and other items of general cleaning. In addition, suitable applicants would also carry out external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, cleaning of drink troughs, removal of cobwebs, other general cleaning and other such duties as required by the Cleaner in Charge. Vacation cleaning duties will also be required, including shampooing carpets and pressure cleaning various areas.
We are seeking applicants who can ideally work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrate strong communication skills, and show flexibility when needed. Attention to detail is highly desirable to ensure a clean and safe school environment. You should be organised, reliable, and punctual, with excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods, and practices.

Eligibility

- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
