We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

The successful applicant will ideally be organised, reliable, punctual and have good knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices, in accordance with the Department’s procedures.

As a Cleaner, the successful applicant will carry out both internal and external cleaning duties. Internal cleaning includes the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning and dusting. External duties include rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, external windows, verandas and covered areas, cobweb removal and other items of general cleaning.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have good attention to detail and be able to work well both individually and as part of a team.

Eligibility
