We're on the hunt for a Workshop Supervisor to lead our skilled team at the Cardiff Service Centre. This fixed-term opportunity will see you at the forefront of exciting projects, managing a high-performing team of tradespeople and working hands-on with electrical rotating machinery.
What You'll Do
Every day will bring new challenges and opportunities to:
1. Lead and mentor a talented team of Team Leaders and workshop personnel.
2. Oversee the inspection, repair, and overhaul of motors, generators, and other rotating electrical machinery.
3. Drive productivity by managing schedules and prioritising jobs.
4. Ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction at every step.
What You'll Bring
To excel, you'll need:
1. A trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical Licence is a bonus).
2. 5+ years of hands-on experience with electrical rotating equipment (experience with electric motors or generators is essential).
3. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
4. A talent for time management and team engagement.
