And now, we’re extending our reach and impact even further.As a **Payroll Officer**, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our dedicated workforce. You’ll support the fortnightly pay-run using **Kronos** and **Chris21**, interpret aged care EBAs and awards, and contribute to the transition to new systems including **Ichris** and **Workday**.**Your opportunity**This is a detail-oriented role where you’ll combine technical payroll expertise with a commitment to compliance and service excellence.With care and professionalism, you will:* Maintain employee payroll records in line with relevant Acts, Awards, EBAs and Contracts.* Calculate and apply pay adjustments including allowances, leave, overtime, penalty rates, higher duties, deductions and increments.* Perform manual integrations and calculations, including ETPs and redundancies.* Organise and manage superannuation payments, including self-managed funds.* Support recovery processes for overpayments and YTD adjustments.* Produce and provide payroll reports as required.* Stay informed on changes to entitlements, government initiatives, taxation, superannuation and employment legislation.* Respond to payroll queries with accuracy and empathy.* Ensure pay advice and record keeping complies with the Fair Work Act.**What you’ll bring**You’re detail-driven, customer-focused, and thrive in a role where precision and compliance matter.You will need:* 2–3 years of payroll processing experience in small or large organisations.* Strong experience interpreting EBAs and awards in an in-house payroll setting.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Willingness to learn new systems and embrace continuous improvement.* Experience with UKG (time and attendance) and manual timesheets.* Intermediate proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Ichris & Chris21.* Certificate IV in Payroll Processing (desirable).This is a **hybrid flexible position**, with set days in the office to support effective payroll processing and team collaboration.At Anglicare, you’ll get the security, stability, and opportunities that come with a strong, well-established organisation that’s ready for the future.
