About the role
As the Corporate Support Officer at BreastScreen SA (BSSA), you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Manager of Assets and Operations by providing a wide range of essential administrative services. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing facilities management, coordinating maintenance requirements across all BSSA sites, and liaising with contractors and service providers to ensure operations run smoothly. You will also be instrumental in managing internal HR documentation, ensuring compliance with reporting processes, and supporting Work Health & Safety (WHS) initiatives to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
In addition, you will contribute to the organisation's growth by coordinating staff Professional Development programs, monitoring mandatory training compliance, and facilitating continuous improvement within the administrative operations. By providing accurate advice on best practice procedures and supporting the strategic goals of BSSA, you will help enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team. The ideal candidate will possess the following key attributes:
- Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team, achieving high standards and learning new skills quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining confidentiality, using diplomacy, and managing sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and administrative systems, with the ability to adapt to evolving technologies in a busy environment.
