What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a Structural Engineer with proven experience in water retaining structures from the water, mining, or industrial sectors. At the Professional to Senior level, your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the structural design of water and wastewater infrastructure — including pump stations, pipelines, treatment plants, and more

- Ensuring technical quality from concept through to detailed design

- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team nationally to share knowledge and drive best practices

- Managing design packages or leading project components

- Mentoring and supporting junior engineers to develop technical and professional skills

- Contributing to proposals and bids with a focus on innovative, client-centric solutions

About You

- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)

- Strong hands-on design experience, ideally within a consultancy environment

- Proven experience in water infrastructure design — particularly water retaining structures

- Familiarity with relevant design tools (e.g., 12D), WSAA codes, and Australian Standards

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop clear, high-quality technical reports

- A collaborative, problem-solving mindset

- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is highly regarded
