Three Blue Ducks are looking for an experienced Retail Supervisor for our Produce Store to join our busy team

Job Description

About Us:

Nestled on an 80-acre farm and macadamia orchard with vistas of the hinterland and Byron’s iconic lighthouse, Three Blue Ducks at The Farm Byron Bay offers a unique backdrop for our dynamic team. As a pivotal member of the Three Blue Ducks retail team, you will report to the Retail Manager and enhance the shopping experience across our retail/produce store. Your responsibilities will span overseeing daily operations, maintaining high standards in product presentation and stock management, enforcing cleaning protocols, and leading the retail team in the Manager’s absence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Complete retail opening and closing procedures meticulously.
2. Manage cash handling and ensure all management procedures are followed during opening and closing.
3. Assist in the setup and stock control of the retail/produce store.
4. Provide consistent support and training to the retail team in alignment with our ethos and training policies.
5. Oversee the daily operations of the retail/produce store ensuring superior service.
6. Facilitate effective communication between management and the floor team.
7. Deliver outstanding service and foster positivity to maximize customer satisfaction.
8. Handle customer complaints swiftly and accurately.

Skills and Experience:

1. Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
2. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
3. Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
4. Passion for the Three Blue Ducks brand and ethos.
5. Knowledge of POS systems, preferably MICROS.
6. Familiarity with NSW Food Health and Safety regulations.
