Grow with us We are currently seeking experienced Field Service Technicians – Plant Mechanic Heavy Diesel to join our team based out of MT Thorley, NSW.

As a part of our field team & with a key focus on safety, you will bring your mechanical experience & knowledge to maintain, diagnose & repair a range of CAT heavy mining equipment on customer project sites throughout NSW.

What you will do

Maintain, diagnose & repair a range of CAT heavy mining equipment on customer project sites throughout NSW, with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

About You

- Passionate about maintaining a high level of workmanship ensuring equipment reliability exceeds customer expectations
- A problem solver with analytical skills and a drive for quality improvement
- Knowledge and application of Occupational Health and Safety within the mining industry
- Experience in customer facing role promoting positive customer relationships
- Expert knowledge of CAT mining equipment with good diagnostic skills
- Firm understanding of CAT SIS and ET systems
- Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to completing a Full Pre-Employment Medical, Coal Service History Check and National Police Clearance)
- Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology (NSW Certificate of Proficiency).
- Australian Driver Licence - Required
- Current Order 43 Coal Board Medical - preferred
- Current Working at Heights & TRG training - preferred
