Field Service Technicians - Heavy Duty Mechanic

BTP has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Heavy Duty Mechanic to join a growing maintenance team based at Mt Thorley in New South Wales.

Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you will bring your extensive experience in the maintenance of Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment inclusive of diagnosing, repairing, and undertaking preventative maintenance on the mobile fleet both in the field and workshop areas.

Requirements

1. Australian Recognised Heavy Duty Trade Qualification
2. Experience on CAT, Komatsu, mining equipment with exceptional knowledge in engine, powertrain, electrical and hydraulic systems.
3. Extensive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills set.
4. An individual that can demonstrate the ability to work safely unsupervised who can set priorities and deliver real value for our customers and the wider BTP Group.
5. Australian Permanent Work Rights
6. A valid Australian Drivers Licence, along with HRWL’s such as forklift, rigging/dogging would be highly regarded.
7. Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to a Full Pre-Employment medical and National Police Clearance).
