Contract: 12+ months long term preferred
Pay: $45 ph including super and benefits

A busy and active family in Kingsford NSW, are seeking a calm and nurturing nanny to care for their 3 children aged 4, 9, and 11 years, after school.

The days and normal hours are – 3 – 5 days, 20 – 25 hrs per week

- Ideally Monday – Friday 2.30pm – 6.30pm
- Number of days are flexible for the right candidate.
- Times could also be extended to include housework duties if desired.

The family are looking for a nanny who is:

- Loving, engaging, active, fun to be around and who likes to be outdoors.
- A nanny who can transport the children to their afternoon activities and also provide fun, creative, and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities when they are at home.
- Someone who values children’s safety, is trustworthy, reliable, adaptive, and able to fit into the family dynamic and stay on a long-term basis.

The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows:

- To care for the children
- Follow the children’s routines
- Play and engage with the children
- School pick up (using the family car if required)
- Take the children to activities, i.e. organised sports, playground, walks and to the park/playgrounds etc.
- Light household duties – tidying up after playing with children. If comfortable to do so, washing and ironing and the occasional trip to the store for an item or two would be appreciated, but not expected.

The family’s expectations from their nanny are:

- Must have a minimum of 3 years nanny or childcare experience
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current Working with Children Check
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- Follow child safety practices at all times
- Full driver’s license and clean driving record
- Cooking appreciated, but not required
- German speaking a bonus
- Confident swimmer a bonus
