A friendly professional family in Riverview are seeking a responsible, caring and patient nanny to care for their 2 happy girls (8 and 4 yrs of age).

**The days and normal hours are: - (Flexible)**

Ideally looking for cover Monday - Friday 2pm - 6pm

Open to 2 nannies sharing the role.

An ideal nanny would be a strong communicator and is caring and patient. A nanny that can be active and engaging with the children though also has a calming approach to them when needed. Looking for a highly organised nanny to support the busy household and children’s routines.

The family is looking for a nanny who adapts well, is honest, responsible, flexible, reliable, punctual and can commit to the role on a long term basis, building a lovely relationship with the whole family.

The role will consist of caring for the children, school pick up, after school activities, playing with the children, cooking/prepping of meals, homework assistance,help out with the evening routine - showering the children, reading to them and getting them into bed and overall contributing to the smooth running of the household.

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**

**Duties include**:

- Tidying main living areas where kids hang out
- Tidying girls bedroom and making beds
- Washing, drying and ironing laundry
- Food preparation, cooking and clearing up
- Assistance with shopping and running errand
- Preparing meals prep
- Preparing the eldest child’s lunches
- Preparing Smoothies for breakfast

**Nanny Responsibilities**:

- Caring for the children
- Preparing children bags and uniform for school
- Managing the eldest child's schedule for school including notes home, school trips, gifts for parties or gifts for the class
- Supervising homework
- Encouraging reading and arts
- Arranging playdates
- Driving and changing for after school activities including swimming and gymnastics

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- 2+ years experience as a nanny
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak English.
- Able to prep and cook basic nutritious healthy meals
- Full drivers licence and clean driving record
