SEAWAY currently has an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our dynamic and rapidly growing business. We are seeking a talented and energetic Customer Service professional to join our Agencies, TS Lines team.

Conveniently located in Southbank, this position provides an excellent opportunity to accelerate your career in the shipping industry. The opportunity will have you working directly with one of our key Principals, TS Lines.

This role will best suit strong communicators who can meet strict deadlines and multitask effectively. Previous experience working for a Shipping Line or in logistics and supply chain industry is preferred but not essential.

The Role

This role is within the TS Lines Customer Service team and provides a stepping stone to establish yourself in an ever-growing industry. You will work with a broad range of customers and cargoes, involving all aspects of Export & Import processes with a strong focus on customer service.

Some key responsibilities

- Deliver high levels of customer service in dealings with Principals and clients

- Manage phone and email communications regularly

- Handle Import/Export processes including bookings, documentation, and invoicing

- Ensure operational activities prior to shipments are completed within designated timeframes

- Update relevant systems with shipment information

- Liaise with shippers, importers, and our principal offices worldwide

- Perform ad hoc administration and reporting

- Proven experience in a customer service role

- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy

- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

- Team player

- Industry experience is highly regarded
