Secondary School Mathematics Teacher

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following Short-Term and Part-Time position (0.73 FTE) commencing in January 2026.

Part-Time (0.73 FTE) Secondary School Mathematics Teacher: Middle School

Term of contract: January 2026 – December 2026 (with the possibility of extension)

We are seeking an outstanding, passionate, and inspiring Mathematics Teacher with experience and qualifications in teaching this subject, with a focus on middle school.

The successful applicant must have:

- relevant qualifications and experience, be approachable, and relate well to students, parents and fellow staff members

- experience in implementing the Mathematics curriculum

- a passion for teaching Mathematics to Secondary School students in an engaging and relevant way

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

You will have:

- an active Christian faith

- exemplary teaching support practice, with qualifications and experience in teaching this subject

- developed a variety of teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of all the students that you teach

- comprehensive knowledge of current educational needs and achievement standards

- a commitment to supporting College policies and procedures relating to Classroom and Behaviour Management

- a solid understanding of technology and can confidently integrate it into your teaching

Personal Qualities:

- You are passionate about living out your Christian faith, and you are prepared to model, uphold, and support the Ethos of the College and its Core Values

- You are deeply relational, friendly and open

- You are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure that your students are always well-supported

- You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, that can be utilised effectively with staff, students, and parents

- You can demonstrate effective planning, organisational and time-management skills

Qualifications:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience related to the teaching responsibility required by the position

- Current Western Australia Australian Teachers Registration Board Certificate of Registration (TRBWA)

- Current Working With Children Card

- Current Police Clearance (issued in the last 3 months)

Additional Requirements:

- The successful applicant will be expected to complete the National Principals’ Child Safe Modules if they have not already done so

- You must have the right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm your eligibility to work in Australia)
