Role Description
Responsibilities include:
1. Manage financial support, contribute to budget preparation, monitor financial performance, and report in accordance with Defence and ETOB objectives.
2. Coordinate financial governance requirements and promote compliance with financial management frameworks.
3. Utilise knowledge and experience of financial management to advise on ETOB and government financial matters.
4. Identify financial issues and apply systematic analysis to reach conclusions.
5. Build and maintain effective relationships with team members and participate in teamwork and group activities.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to resolve complex financial management and branch budget issues.
7. Interpret and adhere to legislative, policy, and regulatory frameworks.
8. Design and recommend solutions to financial management and budget issues.
9. Manage workflows and resources, and prepare team plans with measurable milestones and outcomes.
Skills and experience required:
1. Minimum of 5 years of Defence experience in Financial and Budget Management.
2. The successful candidate will work onsite at RAAF Base Williams Laverton, Victoria.
3. Work from home may be approved with prior agreement.
