About the role

The Salesforce Quality Assurance and Test Engineer reports directly to the Salesforce Product Manager and is responsible for validating the functionality, performance, and reliability of Salesforce applications. This includes creating and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead User Acceptance testing sessions and collaborate with testers

- Align QA processes with Agile/Scrum methodology, sprint planning and execution

- Test for weekly Salesforce releases and major releases

- Prepare test cases for Salesforce requirements tracked for development team in Service Cloud

- Build, lead and deliver test plans, estimates, strategy and hands‑on testing in Salesforce and integrated systems/APIs

- Manage all facets of the QA life cycle – Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases/Scripts and Defect life‑cycle management

Key Competencies

To apply and succeed in the role, you will have:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Salesforce testing.

- Proven experience in test planning, execution and strategy.

- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, functionalities and best practices.

- Proficient in using tools such as SQL, JAVA, C and Python software and systems.

Remuneration

Competitive salary ASO7 $108,109 to $116,864 p.a. plus superannuation

Special Conditions

- The role will be offered full‑time (1.0 FTE) initially for up to 2 years.

- Satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check (NPC) and Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) required prior to employment.
