Overview
ALPHACLICK PTY LTD is a Melbourne-based IT services provider offering Managed IT, cybersecurity, and support solutions for businesses across Australia. This role is critical in maintaining and enhancing our clients' IT infrastructure by ensuring the availability, security, and performance of network and server systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering high-quality IT solutions.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and VPN solutions.
- Administer and support Windows and Linux servers, including Active Directory, Office 365, and virtualized environments.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for escalated incidents, troubleshooting complex issues to resolution.
- Monitor network and system performance using enterprise tools to ensure availability, capacity, and security.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity solutions, including patching, vulnerability management, and compliance checks.
- Contribute to IT projects, system migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and deployment of new technologies.
- Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations, network diagrams, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and deliver technology solutions aligned with business requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Information Technology or related degree
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs) and enterprise-grade routing/switching
- Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux system administration
- Familiarity with cloud services (Azure/AWS) and virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V)
- Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage multiple client environments and deliver high-quality IT solutions.
