Revenue Officer — Head Office, Underdale

Full time permanent role. Responsibilities include:

- Assisting with resolution of account queries for patients and Health funds
- Communicating with external stakeholders (Centrelink, Medicare, hospital finance, third-party financial counsellors)
- Monitoring and following up outstanding debt balances, processing approved debt waivers and write-offs
- Working with software including Microsoft Excel and Collect
- Understanding reasons for arrears including financial hardship
- Maintaining patient and client confidentiality

What will my day-to-day look like?

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Communicating with patients and external organisations regarding hospital fees and charges
- Undertaking inbound and outbound calls
- Following up and collecting outstanding debt from health funds and insurers

Compliance: ensure maximum revenue is collected in a timely manner, follow privacy and debt collection guidelines.

Health Information Manager / Clinical Coder

Role includes assigning accurate clinical codes to episodes of care using ICD-10-AM/ACHI and applying coding standards. Liaise with staff to resolve coding issues and participate in quality activities related to coded data and health data collection.

- Degree in Health Information Management or equivalent
- Certificate IV in Clinical Classification or Diploma of Clinical Coding
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Demonstrated commitment to learning and development

You will make an impact by:

- Performing clinical coding across a broad case mix
- Ensuring correct ICD-10-AM codes and DRG assignments
- Engaging in research to support decision-making and coding standards
- Contributing to safe and equitable workplace practices

Technician (Mackay/Townsville region) — AusHealth Work

Casual role with workplace testing services across Australia. Responsibilities include:

- Performing workplace drugs of abuse testing (breath alcohol, oral fluid, urine, hair)
- Maintaining chain of custody and accurate records of on-site visits
- Organising transportation of specimens to laboratories

Availability: 24/7 flexibility and short-notice incident response. Must have smartphone, valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle. Vaccination evidence may be required for some clients.

About you:

- Ability to work autonomously and follow defined processes
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information ethically

Collector (Casual) — AusHealth

Casual collectors across Australia. Responsibilities include:

- Performing workplace drugs and alcohol testing
- Maintaining chain of custody and accurate records
- Organising specimen transportation to laboratories

Requirements: available 24/7, smartphone, reliable vehicle; vaccination evidence may be required for some sites. HLTPAT005 (preferred) and NV1 security clearance (preferred) are noted; training may be provided.
