Full time, salaried position, 38 hours/week, 5 days/week

Annual salary: $69k + superannuation

Task & Responsibilities

- Welcomes guests, manages reservations, and helps with orders during busy times.
- Works with the Head Chef to create and adjust menus based on seasonal produce and customer demand.
- Organises special events such as private functions and themed dinners.
- Orders supplies, negotiates with vendors, and manages costs to stay within budget.
- Keeps track of stock, invoices, and daily sales to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Makes sure dining areas and service stations are clean, presentable, and meet all health and safety requirements.
- Checks in with diners to gather feedback and ensure they are satisfied with meals and service.
- Hires, trains, and supervises both floor and kitchen staff to maintain high standards of service.

Qualification & Experience

A highly relevant AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma + 1 year of highly relevant full time work experience in the last 5 years. If the applicant has no relevant qualification, at least three years of highly relevant work experience in the last 5 years MAY substitute for the formal qualifications.
