About therole Weare looking for a disability support worker to provide support toclients around Southern Perth Regions including Rockingham,Mandurah, Port Kennedy and Mandurah areas who lives independentlyin the community. A day supporting our client caninclude: - Providingcompanionship, conversation, and emotional support - Providing support andtransport for people to access and participate as a valuedmember of their community. - Assisting withpersonal care - Domestic assistancesuch as cleaning, Aboutyou You’ll be caring,kind, warm and reliable. You’ll share our values and bewanting to make a difference, and you’ll: - Agenuine passion for making a difference in someone’slife - Extensive experienceworking in the mental health space - Ability to workcollaboratively with both the internal and external teams toprovide consistency to our client - Youwill enjoy communicating with a variety of people and are agood listener. - Have afull driver’s licence and access to a road worthy vehicle(that is registered with Third Party Insurance) - Satisfactory NationalPolice Clearance (issued within the last sixmonths) - NDISWorker Screening Check - Certificate III inCommunity Care, Individualised Supports or Disability isdesirable. - Current First AidCertificate or ability to obtain.
