Reporting to the Head of Marketing, your mission will be to codify our unique brand voice into words, creating a clear, compelling, and consistent style that resonates across every platform. This isn't just about writing. It's about strategic communication. We need a creative thinker who can produce high-impact direct marketing copy across every touch-point - from our website, digital ads, and emails, to printed pamphlets and brochures (think Alex Hormozi style). We want you to break through the plethora of AI slop online so you can make our authentic voice reach more families than ever before. What You Will Do As our Marketing Copywriter, you will be the voice of our brand, working closely with the Head of Marketing and founders to craft engaging communications. - Codify the Brand Voice: Collaborate with founders and leadership to understand and codify the authentic Contour voice, translating our philosophy into a comprehensive style guide. - Craft Performance-Driven Ad Copy: Write persuasive, direct-response ad copy for Google, Meta, and other platforms, relentlessly testing creative to lower acquisition costs and drive enrolments. - Build a Content Engine: Write and edit long-form content that builds authority, good-will, and drives organic growth, including blog articles, student case studies, and landing pages that convert. - Drive Engagement Across Channels: Write engaging copy for all marketing touch-points, including email newsletters, social media captions, and video scripts, to create a seamless brand story. - Create Compelling Physical Collateral: Write clear, persuasive copy for print materials like campus brochures, event pamphlets, and parent information packs. - Collaborate on Go-To-Market Campaigns: Serve as the lead copywriter on major campaigns, working with Marketing and Design to ensure messaging is powerful, integrated, and flawlessly executed. Who You Will Bring - A Master Wordsmith: 3+ years of marketing copywriting experience with a strong portfolio of high-converting content across digital and print. - Strategic & Creative Thinking: A strategic thinker who can align creative copy with marketing goals and audience needs. - AI-Enhanced & Efficient: Proficient in using modern writing tools, including AI, for editing, proofreading, and brainstorming to produce high-quality copy efficiently. - SEO Savvy: A solid understanding of SEO principles and how to write keyword-optimised content that drives organic traffic. - Adaptable & Versatile: An adaptable writer who can effortlessly switch between tones and styles for different audiences and projects. - Strong Collaborator: An effective communicator and team player who takes feedback constructively to bring creative visions to life. - Bonus Points: Experience in the education sector, high-growth startups, or B2C markets.
