About Our Client

PDL is Australia's first national pharmacy body, founded in 1912 by pharmacists to support their peers. Today, it serves a broad community of members across the country, including hospital, clinical, research, and community pharmacists, as well as students and interns. PDL offers professional indemnity insurance and practical guidance to help members manage risks in their daily practice. Their goal is to strengthen the pharmacy profession by promoting leadership, advocating for members, and raising awareness about safe and effective practices. In addition to supporting individual pharmacists, PDL contributes to the wider profession by backing pharmacy organisations, events, research, and initiatives that improve standards, safety, and service to the public.

Job Description

- Drive marketing initiatives to meet business goals and grow membership.
- Oversee brand strategy, member communications, and advertising across all channels.
- Plan, execute, and measure marketing campaigns, especially membership renewals and constitutional communications.
- Use insights and trends to inform strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Manage editing and copywriting for alerts, media releases, promotional materials, and digital content.
- Coordinate national events and sponsorships across industry, university, and professional categories.
- Improve user experience, manage CMS, and publish content online.
- Lead the marketing team, support professional development, and manage the marketing budget for ROI.

The Successful Applicant

- A professional with 8+ years experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- A candidate with strong leadership skills, experience managing a team and proven success executing campaigns.
- Proven ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Skilled in writing, editing, presenting, and visual content development.
- Ability to multitask, make decisions, and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with systems, web development, user experience, and tools like ClickDimensions, Dynamics 365, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Capable of translating insights into strategy and adapting to changing market conditions.
