Overview

Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.

Clough currently has an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Insulator to join our team on site.

Your focus will include

- Read and interpret insulation specifications, blueprints, and isometric drawings.

- Measure, cut, and install insulation materials (e.g., fiberglass, mineral wool, calcium silicate, foam glass) on piping and equipment.

- Apply cladding and jacketing (e.g., aluminum, stainless steel) to protect insulation from environmental damage.

- Ensure proper sealing and finishing of insulation systems to prevent moisture ingress and corrosion under insulation (CUI).

- Collaborate with other trades (e.g., pipefitters, welders, scaffolders) to coordinate installation schedules.

- Conduct inspections and repairs of installed insulation as required.

- Adhere strictly to site safety protocols, PPE requirements, and environmental standards.

What you will bring to the team

- Demonstrated experience working as an Insulator/Lagger

- Demonstrated experience working in a large-scale oil and gas maintenance environment

- Hold a Nationally Accredited OHS Card (CPCCWHS1001 White Card)

- Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen. Ability to work in remote locations or under rotational schedules as required.
