What is our Clinical Midwife role? This position provides continuity of midwifery care during the pre‑natal, intrapartum and postpartum period as a member of a midwifery group practice within a low‑risk setting at the Family Birth Centre. In accordance with the ANMC Competency Standards for Midwives, the Code of Ethics and professional conduct for midwives, midwives will work as part of a collaborative team with medical and allied health practitioners with the emphasis on the provision of safe, effective care which is culturally sensitive and meets the needs of individual women.
