The Role
Are you looking to join one of the most trusted and dynamic newsrooms in the country?
Do you want to develop your live and breaking news skills in an environment where you will be supported and given every opportunity to thrive?
Working at the ABC News Channel you will be surrounded by some of the most talented journalists in the business.
Each day you will be part of the editorial discussion and contributing to the national debate by creating and putting to air our continuous news coverage.
You will be a broadcast news producer with at least 3 years' experience working in TV or Radio newsroom and experience building and outputting live news, sound editorial judgment as well as good communication and desktop editing skills.
You will bring to the role a passion and enthusiasm for news that is more relevant to all Australian’s and not be afraid to contribute story and guest ideas.
You will join an established team who will welcome and support you in getting up to speed understanding the ABC and feeling part of the News Channel team.
