The Opportunity
BDA is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who will join the C-17 Globemaster G3 team. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and manage our warehouse operations. The successful candidate will oversee daily activities, ensure efficient inventory management, and maintain a safe and productive work environment. This role is based at RAAF Base Amberley.
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff activities to meet operational goals.
- Manage inventory control, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
- Monitor and optimise warehouse processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments to support supply chain operations.
- Train, mentor, and develop warehouse team members.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on warehouse performance.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in Warehouse management Principles & Systems i.e. SAP, MILIS and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven history in developing a safe work environment.
