About the Role
This is an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Associate Family Lawyer with at least four years of post‑admission experience to take the next step in their career. Joining our client’s Gold Coast team, you will play a pivotal role in both legal practice and firm development.
- Managing a diverse caseload of family law matters, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Property settlements and financial agreements
- Parenting disputes and child support matters
- De facto and same‑sex relationship matters
- Relocation and intervention orders
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships and referral networks
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers, contributing to their professional growth
- Playing a key role in business development and firm expansion
- Working closely with firm leadership to establish a clear pathway to partnership
Key Requirements
- Admitted to practice in Australia with at least four years of post‑admission experience in family law (private practice)
- Strong technical expertise in family law with the ability to manage complex cases independently
- A commercial mindset with a strategic approach to client and case management
- Proven experience in business development and networking to build referral pathways
- Ability to mentor and lead junior lawyers while fostering a collaborative work environment
- A long‑term commitment to career progression with ambitions for partnership
