The Opportunity

The Manors of Mosman retirement village is a welcoming community set amongst lush and manicured gardens and grounds, conveniently located in the prestigious harbourside suburb of Mosman. In this position, you will play a significant role in providing high-quality care for our residents that provides a safe and vibrant environment where resident choice comes first. You will be passionate about building solid relationships, supporting residents to remain independent and delivering exceptional care. As a team player, you will be supportive and proactive to help ensure you and your colleagues exceed in providing high-quality care outcomes.

This is a Casual position working 4pm to 8pm following on-call/sleepover shift until 7:30am the following day.

Your Impact

- Assist in the provision of quality care services to our residents
- Work under the supervision of the Care Team to coordinate and document resident issues and escalate where needed to the broader teams
- Demonstrate an empathetic attitude to the needs of the residents and be driven by safety, quality, efficiency and performance
- Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with residents and wider stakeholders
- Liaise effectively with external service providers who provide care within the community

What you will bring

- Current AHPRA registration (required)
- Current CPR certificate (required)
- Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you)
- Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up to date (required)
- Experience in Community Care or Retirement Living (desired)
- Trustworthy, reliable & enjoy working in a team environment
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise
