Our Role

We are looking for an Operator Maintainer to join our hardworking team at our Traralgon Plant in Gippsland. Reporting to the Production Supervisor and operating and maintaining equipment such as a vertical Kiln and Roller Milling circuit ensuring the plant is operated safety and in line with our production schedule. Other duties include:

- The safe and responsible operating of the plant and equipment to produce products within specification in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with company policies, procedure and guidelines.

The safe and responsible installation and repair of fixed and mobile plant and equipment machinery in compliance with company policies, procedure and guidelines to ensure sites operate safely, with positive asset management and minimal downtime.

- Loading of trucks,
- Collect and test samples in the lab for quality assurance.

As the successful candidate, you:

- Are a flexible team player who likes to work self-sufficiently, balances and delivers on team and personal objectives in a safe and efficient manner following safe work practices
- Hold a qualification in Engineering, Mechanical Fitting or Diesel fitting or other trade background with good mechanical aptitude would be highly regarded.
- Previous experience in fixed plant production, in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Have Forklift, Front-end loader or related experience.
- Computer literate with attention to detail and experience in a manufacturing environment
