What will you do in an average week?

- Working to your strengths, you will head up the Commercial function and accounts, and be focused on the management, development and growing of the large transacting pipeline of customers for an expansive territory that extends far east and north into the industrial, agricultural and mining sectors.
- Be leveraging your market insights and existing contacts to generate leads and to plot the on-going growth of Commercial Sales.
- Commercialise new business wins through the effective negotiation and management of tenders and contracts as well as account reviews on-going.
- Work effectively with the store team members and your Commercial Support Specialist to manage key activities such as pricing, estimating, account management and stock planning
- Provide ongoing relationship management and a high touch approach to your accounts to ensure that customers continue to build and maintain confidence and trust in you and consistently view you as their ‘go to’ supplier for all their Commercial needs.
- Be ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and customers are constantly nurtured, responded to and managed with care and efficiency with a high service level.
- Be constantly reviewing processes, tools, activities and systems and making the overriding decision on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance all Commercial Sales opportunities.

- Proven success in a comparable Commercial Sales/Business Development role
- Can 'hit the ground running.’ You have a hunger for sales and smashing targets…and have that eagerness and relentless passion to do the 'leg-work' to make it all happen.
- A proven ability to develop strong partnerships, and an innate ability to identify new opportunities within new and current accounts.
- You drive sales with an upbeat approach and have a natural ability to engage.
- You have a LOVE for customers – you take pride in gaining customer satisfaction and you are always looking for better ways to service them. In fact, going above and beyond every day is in your DNA.
- You are highly motivated, passionate and you set a very high bar in everything that you do.
- You are a practitioner and have highly effective planning, organisation and time management skills. You have an eye for constant improvement and creating process efficiencies across every aspect.
- You are credible and engaging and hard ‘not to like.’
