About the Role

Are you an experienced groundskeeper looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for you to lead a dynamic team in maintaining and preparing our sports fields to top standards

As the Sportsground Team Leader, you'll be hands‑on, ensuring the safe and timely upkeep of our fields, making them game‑ready for the community. If you're passionate about working outdoors, leading a team, and taking pride in high‑quality results, this role is perfect for you.

Internally the role is known as Team Leader Sports Facilities.

Your commencing salary will range from $74,571.94 - $86,172.02 p.a. + superannuation, dependent on your relevant skills and experience. In addition, you will receive a to-and‑from work vehicle.

About You

You are a proactive leader with experience in sports field and garden maintenance. Skilled in supervising teams, managing resources, and ensuring maintenance programs run smoothly, you bring technical expertise and a hands‑on approach. Your ability to oversee operations, maintain compliance, and contribute to planning makes you a valuable asset to the team.

Requirements

- Hold at least Certificate 3 level qualifications in greenkeeping, horticulture or similar

- Have significant experience in a greenkeeping or sporting fields maintenance role

- Have experience leading teams and coordinating daily work tasks

- Be physically fit and enjoy working outdoors

- Have a personal commitment to safe working practices
