Our team maintains and repairs Thermo King, Starcool, Daikin, and Carrier brands of transport refrigeration equipment as well as heating and cooling systems on specialty vehicles, all with the goal of managing temperature-controlled environments. We are looking to add exceptional mechanics/technicians to our team.

What is a Transport Refrigeration Mechanic/Technician?

The Transport Refrigeration (Reefer) Mechanic role is based out of Victoria and reports directly to the Service manager and Service writers. The technician will work remotely within the Victoria region. The Transport Refrigeration technician will work on the assembly, installation, operation, maintenance and repair of variable speed, electric and diesel driven cooling/heating systems, components and mechanical equipment on trucks, specialty vehicles, trailers and intermodal containers.

This role is perfect for a self-driven candidates that have a knack for problem solving and repairing technical and hands-on problems. If growth and development are important to you, then we want to create a plan to help you reach your goals at TKBC.

Responsibilities

- The Transport Refrigeration Technician will service, maintain and repair truck / trailer reefer units, AC Equipment, container refrigeration units and Gensets.
- Ensure all work is completed to TKBC standards
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service to our Customers
- Participate in the on call service rotation (Mobile technician)
