Position Summary

Provide specialist support for students with learning and support needs in regular classes, delivering targeted small‑group literacy and numeracy programs and contributing to student wellbeing initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, students and external agencies to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and transition plans.
- Design and deliver small group literacy and numeracy programs aimed at improving student engagement and achievement.
- Support the delivery of explicit teaching and learning strategies that promote student growth, equity and well‑being.

Qualifications and Selection Criteria

- Approval to teach students with learning and support needs (secondary) and/or experience teaching students with learning and support needs (secondary) in regular classes.
- Capacity to provide specialist assistance to students in regular classes with additional learning and support needs and their teachers.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is required. All applicants must provide their WWCC clearance number.
