The Role

As a therapist at Connect2Care, you will join a multidisciplinary team providing evidence-based services through various delivery models, including telehealth, community visits, and centre-based services. Referrals may come through NDIS, Medicare, or private sources. This is a mobile role, with options to work from home or our hubs when not seeing clients. Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and providing interventions for children and adults with disabilities
  • Working within the NDIS to maximize clients' function, capacity, and social engagement
  • Assisting with assistive technology assessments, recommendations, and applications (in relevant fields)
  • Timely documentation and report writing
  • Managing a varied caseload
  • Meeting professional expectations, such as billables and client management
  • Building relationships with stakeholders, including therapists, clients, and referral sources
  • Using leading software platforms and online tools
The NewGrad Program

Connect2Care offers a tailored New Graduate Program to support recent graduates entering the workforce, helping them develop skills for a successful career. The program spans over 12 months, starting from your first day with us, and includes:

  • Weekly 1:1 supervision
  • Core competency training
  • Fortnightly group mentoring

  • Shadowing with experienced clinicians

Requirements

To apply, you should have or be able to obtain:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Discipline-specific registration (e.g., AHPRA/SPA)
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Police and International Police Checks (if applicable)
  • Driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Car insurance
  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance
