As our Adelaide Oval Turf Solutions business grows, we want to expand our team Adelaide Oval Turf Solutions brings the Adelaide Oval team and its unparalleled expertise and high-quality workmanship to sporting grounds, clubs and community spaces across South Australia and beyond.

The Turf Solutions Irrigation Technician will report to the Adelaide Oval Turf Solutions Operations Manager and be responsible for overseeing and running the day-to-day projects that have been assigned to them by the Irrigation Manager at various sporting venues and green spaces locally and interstate (when required). This position is not solely based at Adelaide Oval; travel will be required.

Responsibilities

- Assist with the installation, operation, and maintenance of irrigation systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation components, including pumps, valves, sprinklers and controllers.
- Liaise with external stakeholders and clients within the budget framework.
- Work with the Irrigation Manager to quote, tender and price projects.
- Assist in the planning and installation of new irrigation systems as needed.

Requirements

- A current driver’s licence is required.
- A current HR driver’s licence or willing to get one.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant trade qualifications or higher, including Cert III Horticulture or Sports Turf Management.
- Sound knowledge of irrigation systems, controllers, and water-efficient practices.
- Ability to utilise computer systems such as Microsoft Office and app-based systems.

Please note that out-of-hours work may be a requirement of this role, in line with Adelaide Oval Turf Solutions' business operations.
