Welcome, {{ fullName }} {{ firstName }} THE COMPANY Pirtek is a strong performing national and international company that offers long term secure employment. Seeking a Centre Technician for the Pirtek Adelaide Service & Supply Centre. Proudly Australian, with over 45 years in the business and 108 locations across Australia, Pirtek specialises in mobile "on-site" service and replacement of hydraulic and industrial hose and fittings. Two opportunities exist as we look to grow and develop the business. Pirtek Adelaide requires a motivated, enthusiastic person who takes pride in their work to join their team as a Centre Technician. Take this opportunity to become part of a company that offers stability, a positive fulfilling work environment with strong processes and reputation in place. THE ROLE As a Centre Technician, you will be expected to deliver consistent, accurate, high quality service to your customers. You will become a passionate and energetic team member with excellent skills in communication. The job will challenge you to provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers - calling on customers when you are not in the field servicing or repairing plant and machinery is required. As part of the position you will need to be available to participate in a 24-hour on-call roster split between the other technicians. You will also be responsible for developing, building and maintaining relationships with your group of key customers, both new and existing. Here’s your opportunity to grab your tools and utilise your knowledge and skills to develop a rewarding career with a company whose quality, service and safety sets us apart from others. You will be based in Regency Park, and in return for your skills you will be provided with a vehicle and full product and job training. There will be above award wages and excellent career opportunities. The Centre Technician requires a similar skill set to a Mobile Service Technician and is based in the workshop. Dealing with customers that come in, and providing support to Mobile Service Technicians as required, this role is a great opportunity to develop into a Mobile Service Technician in time and gain solid experience in hose making. ABOUT YOU - Ideally a mechanical trade or equivalent experience - An underlying level of urgency balanced with strict attention to detail - The ability to think on your feet and solve problems under pressure - Good numeracy, verbal and written skills - Some flexibility in working hours as after hours availability is a prerequisite for mobile service work. TO APPLY An immediate start is available for the successful applicant. Please apply by clicking the 'Apply Now' button above and towards the right. #J-18808-Ljbffr
