Our client is looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer who’s passionate about building cloud platforms the right way — automated, repeatable, secure, and scalable. If you love working with Terraform, delivering clean infrastructure-as-code and shaping modern Azure environments, this role will give you the scope and ownership you're after. Day to day duties include: - Design, build, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform as your primary IaC tool - Develop reusable Terraform modules, enforce standards, and drive best practices across environments - Work across CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and configuration - Support platform reliability, performance, identity, networking, and security within Azure - Collaborate with engineering, security, and architecture teams on solution design - Contribute to cloud governance, cost optimisation, and environment hardening - Troubleshoot complex cloud issues across compute, storage, networking, and DevOps tooling Key Skills & Experience - Strong, practical experience with Terraform (multi-env structures, modules, state management, workspaces, pipelines, versioning) - Solid experience engineering solutions in Azure (App Services, AKS, Functions, APIM, VNets, AAD, Azure Monitor, Storage, Key Vault, etc.) - Hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar) - Understanding of cloud security, networking, RBAC and enterprise patterns - Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python desirable) - Ability to work collaboratively in a platform or engineering team, influencing standards and best practices as well as leading projects How to apply If you are well suited to this opportunity, we'd like to hear from you.
