Are you a Senior Cloud, Platform, or DevOps Engineer looking to join a close-knit supportive team working on a new cloud environment? We're seeking a talented individual to join us to design, develop & maintain Insignia’s cloud landing zone in AWS & GCP. We have built a new platform and now have an opportunity for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join the team and help us make our landing zone better than ever.

The opportunity to join our team

As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Insignia Financial, you will play a senior role in designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS and GCP infrastructure and platforms that underpin our cloud strategy.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

- Designing and implementing AWS and GCP landing zones, infrastructure and platforms
- Developing new automation patterns and platform controls to enhance quality and efficiency
- Creating automation for infrastructure and platforms, principally in CloudFormation, Terraform and Python, to enable other Insignia teams to build their own Cloud services
- Mentoring junior Engineers and fostering a culture of continuous learning
- Writing comprehensive technical documentation and presenting outcomes effectively

What You Bring to this role

We're looking for a self-driven Senior Cloud Engineer with a strong technical background and a passion for cloud technologies. To be successful in this role you will:

- Have experience in designing and building cloud infrastructure, landing zones and technical controls (AWS and/or GCP)
- Demonstrable expertise in writing CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar from scratch
- In-depth understanding of security, risk, and governance in regulated industries
- Strong proficiency in Linux and familiarity with software engineering best practices
