Tax - Senior Associate / Special Counsel

Due to growth, we are seeking a talented Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our Sydney Tax group working alongside Andy Milidoni.

The Role

Due to the launch of our Tax practice group in Sydney, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to work alongside Andy Milidoni to help drive the growth and success of this exciting new practice.

In this role, you will be integral in supporting Andy’s tax practice, advising a diverse range of clients on complex tax issues relating to both direct and indirect tax. You will also play a pivotal role in business development and mentoring junior lawyers.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have at least 9 years’ PQE from a reputable law firm or legal and tax arm of a large accounting firm. You will have strong technical knowledge in direct and indirect tax and a proactive and client-focused approach with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong attention to detail analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Candidates with a transportable practice will be highly regarded, though not essential.
