About the Role

Brisbane Girls Grammar School is seeking a Native Chinese speaker to support the delivery of the Chinese Language Program. This position is offered on a casual basis, commencing in January 2026.

As the Chinese Language Assistant, you will provide students with access to authentic language accents and patterns of speech to support a cultural understanding and to enrich their learning.

Responsibilities

- Provide support for the delivery of the Chinese Language Program to students.
- Offer exposure to authentic language accents and speech patterns to aid cultural understanding and learning.

Qualifications

- Relevant tertiary qualifications, or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education
- Excellent technological literacy
- The ability to work collaboratively and energetically within a high-performing School culture
- The ability to acquire and maintain a Positive Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or current Queensland College of Teachers registration.
