Brightstar Resources(ASX: BTR) owns andoperates the established Second Fortune Gold Mine and the newlylaunched Fish mine in the Laverton Goldfields region of WesternAustralia. To support our expanding operations and upcomingprojects, we are looking for an Accounts PayableLead to join our rapidly growing team.

The role:

Based in our Subiaco Head Office as the Accounts PayableLead, you will manage the daily operations of the accountspayable function, including workflow oversight, task distribution,and driving process improvement initiatives. Your responsibilitieswill include:

- Oversee daily accounts payable operations, ensuring timelyand accurate invoice and payment processing, and effectivelydelegating tasks among team members to support efficientmonth-end close activities.
- Collaborate with procurement, accounting, and otherinternal departments to resolve invoice, purchase order, orpayment issues and to identify and implement processimprovements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and internalcontrols.
- Prepare and analyse AP-related reports and metrics formanagement review.
- Lead, train, and mentor AP team members, fostering aculture of collaboration, accountability, and continuousimprovement.
- Maintain vendor master data and ensure proper documentationand compliance with tax and reporting requirements.

About you:

- Previous experience in a Senior or Lead Accounts Payablerole, preferably in the mining industry.
- Proficient user of the Microsoft suite of products,particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in finance ERP systems preferably Pronto.
- hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced and growingorganisation, capable of managing multiple priorities whilemaintaining a high standard of accuracy andprofessionalism.
