The Opportunity
Based in their brand new Cockburn Central branch, the role is focussed on growing the WA territory and supporting existing customers in the region.
Day to day:
- Prospecting for potential customers to generate leads and opportunities.
- Working with the internal sales support team to identify new business opportunities and arrange sales meetings.
- Meeting with and building relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Demonstrating equipment to clients as needed to complete the sales process.
- Provide market feedback and intelligence to the leadership team.
- Maintaining the Salesforce CRM with relevant info.
About You
We are looking for an experienced BDM, ideally from the capital equipment or industrial sectors, with a passion for expanding territories and building new relationships.
Ideally, you will have:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- The ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to change
- Ability to understand and demonstrate the operations of small and large equipment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on attention to detail
