We shape leading experiences across office, retail, logistics and student accommodation.
We’re one of Australia’s largest property groups, managing $35 billion worth of assets across the country.
Our sustainable returns from investments come from focusing on what matters most to customers — a great experience and doing good. Every day, our people are driving positive impact for people, place and planet. They’re inquisitive, pioneering industry firsts and pushing new ideas to deliver exceptional outcomes.
This passion and expertise creates an employee experience that puts wellbeing, flexibility and opportunity first.
The role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Information Security Analyst to play a key role in protecting and strengthening GPT’s technology environment. This role is responsible for ensuring our systems are managed in line with established security frameworks, policies, and standards. You’ll be involved in the day-to-day delivery of information security operations, support a range of project initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to align outcomes with GPT’s risk appetite, compliance requirements, and due diligence obligations.
What you will be doing
Key Responsibilities
The principal tasks of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Embedding cyber security practices into BAU operations and project delivery.
- Maintaining awareness of emerging threats, compliance, and regulatory obligations.
- Implementing and continuously improve information security strategies, technologies, and policies.
- Leading security-by-design reviews and guide secure solution development.
- Managing core security platforms and monitor vulnerability, access, and incident activities.
- Supporting incident response, investigations, and regular security testing initiatives.
- Coordinating compliance, audit, and third-party risk assessment activities.
- Promoting security awareness, provide expert guidance, and stay informed on industry trends.
What makes you stand out
Ideally you will have a minimum of two years’ experience in information security with a solid understanding of security operations, ITIL practices, and tools such as SIEM and Data Loss Prevention. Demonstrated knowledge of risk management and vulnerability management frameworks, along with the ability to analyse and mitigate security risks and define processes for network security. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and lead security initiatives collaboratively. A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are key. Relevant cyber security certifications, or progress toward obtaining them, will be highly regarded.
What makes us stand out
- Enjoy flexible working arrangements and generous leave options.
- Experience market-leading parental leave benefits including 22 weeks paid leave for either carer and childcare allowance once you return to work.
- Embrace diverse and challenging career opportunities, supported by our dedicated Learning & Development Team committed to your growth.
- Engage in comprehensive Wellbeing programs and benefit from market-leading policies and support tailored to diverse needs.
